2009 Mazda 6- review
![]() |
The all new Mazda 6 comes with style that is stunning and performance that is really enthralling! The new 6 is coming for 2009. Mazda 6 will definitely raise the fun factor of driving!
The sleek exterior features include elongated headlights which are quite prominent. The fog light surrounds at the front corners are particularly nice pieces of jewelry, and the large snowflake-design wheels are very sharp. Mazda6 is available in three stunning body styles- sedan, hatch and wagon.
The new Mazda6 is predicted to ride on the EU-CD platform developed by Volvo and used within the Ford-PAG range. The car features the 2.3-liter MZR inline-four, as well as a new V6 engine, most likely the Ford-derived 3.5-liter unit currently found in the CX-9. European models will also receive a brand new twin-turbocharged 173-hp, 272 lb-ft of torque twin-turbo 2.2-liter diesel engine as well as other small inline-four power plants.
A newly upgraded 2.5-liter gas package will follow. For American motorists, look for a blend of four-cylinder and optional 3.5-liter V-6 packages, but no diesel. The car will be launched at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Unlike the first-generation 6, which was derived from a model developed for worldwide markets, the 2009 Mazda 6 for North America was specifically designed for this market. Thus it will be bigger inside and out than 6 models sold elsewhere, and the larger V-6 is exclusive to North America. We get unique styling, too.
