Are gas prices empting your wallet?

Are gas prices empting your wallet?Gas prices always only seem to climb, a phenomenon which is new to us no more. However, since our dependency on this is never likely to cease, we can always employ some measures to control our unnecessary wastage of this ever-so-expensive fuel. Here you go!

• Always keep your car tuned up because cars in poor condition tend to use more of this fuel.
• Your car air conditioner is one of the sole reasons that’ll give you worse gas mileage. So if it is inevitable not to use it, make sure that you are using it at a lower setting.
• Your windows should always be closed while traveling at high speeds. Open windows cause additional drag and lower your gas mileage.
• Never over fill the air in your tires because over-inflated tires can actually reduce your fuel efficiency.
• If possible, change your work start time to avoid gridlock. Stop and go traffic hurts your gas mileage.
• Avoid carrying unneeded items in your vehicle. For example, you needn’t carry snow chains around with you in the summertime.
• Avoid your engine to stay idle for longer periods of time. While suck in traffic, you can easily turn the ignition off for you certainly won’t move for the next few minutes.
• Traveling at fast speeds in low gears must be avoided unless you need the compression to slow down.
• Always drive within the speed limit.
• Accelerate slowly when leaving the stop light. Only if you knew, the fastest person through the intersection spends more on gas.
• Revving the engine needlessly wastes gas. There is no need to rev before you turn your vehicle off.

These are some basic but useful tips which will invariably help you to save bucks on fuel. Our forthcoming articles will have more of such tips for you.

Natural Gasoline: An Alternative Source of Energy

Natural Gasoline: An Alternative Source of EnergyNatural gasoline is a heavy source of energy in the present world. Today’s world hugely relies on natural gas or natural gasoline as they find it a major energy source. Natural gasoline is highly combustible and is a much cleaner source of energy when compared to fossil fuels found in the deep reservoirs within the earth.
Gasoline is obtained by drilling. It is made up of many hydrocarbons out of which methane is the predominant one. Natural gas when comes out in its original state has ethane, propane and butane as impurities. Removals of these impurities take place while in refinery.

With fossils fuels depleting at a rapid rate, scientists have started focusing on natural gasoline as a chief source of energy. The usage of gasoline keeps fluctuating with climatic conditions. Its demand shows a deep increase during winters and goes down during summers.

Importance:

Natural gasoline has the property of burning without leaving any impurities. It is a good source of energy. Due to these reasons, the demand of it has gone too high. To make this natural gasoline available in the market, it is important to have natural gas pipeline facilities.

The number of these pipelines is proportional to the increase in the demand of natural gasoline. The increase in the demand for natural gasoline has raised the need of these pipeline facilities. Major petroleum companies are in the process to build natural gas pipelines across Europe, North America and other countries.

Pipeline facilities provide the most effective means of transport for natural gasoline. The natural gas is transported by the pipeline companies through trucks and carriers. The cost of transportation is too high and it is a tedious job. This had made the transportation impractical. Sometimes, such transportation is also risky.
Pipeline facilities make the transportation of natural gasoline faster to various fuel stations. They transform natural gas effectively. These fuel stations also help to facilitate thousands of natural gasoline supplies.

Its time to drive your way to peace!

Its time to drive your way to peace! In our last article we spoke about fuel efficiency system attained through Fuel Zone.  This indeed is a great catch for people who operate on large fleet of vehicles such as 50 or more with a minimum of one private fueling facility. But you install such a system, your needs grow and so does your demand to upgrade such system without investing much money, of course.

An answer to this is an automated fuel management solution with the future in mind! Yes, we are talking about yet another technology that will help you to invest many times lesser than your first time expenditure, thereby delivering core benefits and upgrading fuel system with better features as your needs grow.

Besides, reducing our fuel consumption by 25% and providing a 24-hour secured access this system further helps you to deliver all the advantages of the Fleet Zone platform, giving you the best value in fuel management. This indeed calls for a wireless installation which is very economical and provides protective electrical isolation from outdoor equipment. Furthermore, it records all the data needed for fuel inventory reconciliation. It also all makes of dispensers including commercial types and any identification technology you may be already using (RFID, iButton, etc.)

Another system that has made its mark is the Fuel Zone transit which allows the automatic authorization of products and fuel as vehicles stop in the service area. As the name suggests, this system is mainly applicable for large transit vehicles, particularly buses. This is how it works: Bus number and error-free vehicular data is captured transparently while the bus is being serviced. Dispensers turn off as soon as the bus leaves the service area and all consumption and vehicular data is recorded in a central database.

Hence with all this and more, managing our vehicles, however small or big they may be, has become easy beyond our imagination. All you need to do now is just turn up at your service station and get it installed and drive your way to peace!

Maintaining fuel economy was never so easy!

Maintaining fuel economy was never so easy!Maintaining fuel economy is something none of us can afford to ignore. Whether we operate a fleet or just one vehicle, it is of prime eminence for us to keep a check on how much fuel are we dispensing in a single day. However, under conditions when our vehicles are driven not by us, human intervention (in our absence) can easily deprive us of the actual fuel record. Well, the markets have for you some of the best Fuel Management systems that will help you:

• Capture the captures critical fuel and vehicular data automatically
• Monitor fleet performance
• Schedule preventive maintenance
• Account for every drop of fuel dispensed

The good news is it calls for a wireless installation with no cards or keypads requirement and zero human intervention. It only calls for a small investment, tracking consumption upto 200 electronic keys, on 2 hoses, with no data entry. These systems come with virtually unlimited capacity but can also e upgraded from time to time if necessary.

So your fuel benefits are not very far from you now. You can save considerable bucks by employing this system. One of the most popular fuel management systems available in the markets are Fuel Zone, Fuel Zone lite and Fuel Zone Transit.

So who exactly are Fuel Zone users?

People using Fuel Zone are organizations operating large fleets of at least 50 or more vehicles and at least one private fueling facility to their credit. Hence wanting to cut costs seems to be their most obvious need. Thus, this is fulfilled by leveraging Fuel Zone to reduce fuel consumption up to 25%, meet environmental regulations, monitor and improve fleet performance and schedule preventive maintenance by specifically ensuring that there is no human intervention in the same.

How can Fuel Zone be beneficial for you??
• Reduce fuel consumption by almost 25%
• It provides 24/7 unattended yet secure access to fuel
• Manually guarantees that fuel is dispensed to authorized vehicles only
• Eliminate spillage by cutting off the flow of fuel whenever nozzle is removed from authorized vehicle
• Satisfy environmental agencies regulations by automatically recording and reconciling fuel consumption to inventories
• Greatly cuts down vehicle idling
• Speeds up fueling
• Enhance safety by immediate notification of storage tanks leaks
• Automatically captures complete vehicular information such as mileage and engine hours along with idling, fault codes and more
• There is no need of a special dispenser nozzle, hose or other fittings
• Easy plug-and-play Vehicle Data Unit installation

Thus we see that we can now be rest assured about judicious handling of our fuel. Moreover, operating Fuel Zone is so easy that it all you need to do is simple fuel uo and drive away. The system will automatically perform the validations while reading the vehicle data.

Ways to Cut Fuel Prices

Ways to Cut Fuel PricesSaving money is not a simple thing. Thanks to the new economic conditions. No doubt, the first thing that comes to mind while thinking about the economy is the tremendous hike of the fuel price. Oil companies have reported record breaking quarters. And in the end the burn is brunt by average common man. With all developed countries witnessing heavy hike in fuel charges, things are no more as simple as that.

Have you ever thought of a strategy to fight back this disastrous scenario? What will it take for gas prices to steady to a reasonable price again? Buy less gas! It is as simple as that. Latest reports show that most of Americans have already resorted to driving less, sacrificing family vacations, carpooling to work, and using public transportation. So how can you buy less gas even after you have resorted to the extreme?

There do exist ways to cut down money on gas, drive as much as you want, and reduce carbon emissions. Converting the car to run on water and gasoline hybrid will help in cutting down the fuel charges to a big extend. This is possible through the miracle of electrolysis. This methodology dramatically improve you gas mileage, without all the confusion of hydrogen fuel cell technology. To make things cooler, this can be done with any car or truck, gas or diesel!

Everyone among us knows that hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. But also we know that hydrogen fuel is very unstable, and sometimes dangerous to transport. But there is another option other than hydrogen fuel that is virtually a scientific breakthrough. It’s baptised HHO. And a man by the name of Ozzie Freedom has developed a device that could use the electricity out of your car or truck battery, which will separate water into “HHO”. This HHO GAS which is 3 times more potent than gasoline increases mileage and cuts the fuel price.

Tell me, you know any more much better price cutting gimmick. I swear, I don’t. So if you too not, then switch over to these new ways to save fuel charges.

Improving Your Cars Fuel Efficiency

Improving Your Cars Fuel EfficiencyThere is a dire shortage of fuel, everybody is noticing it but nobody seems to be able to come up with a solution. This shortage is forcing the fuel prices higher and higher everyday.

You can’t change the world’s fuel problems single handedly, but there are some ways that you can stretch your fuel and save your hard earned dollars.

Don’t switch your engine off
Switching your engine off for short periods of time can actually increase fuel use, as it requires more fuel to get the engine started. Also your catalytic converter will no longer be running at full temperature and so your car will be less efficient, increasing the amount of pollution you cause.

Switch you engine Off
I know, I just told you not to, but that is if you are stopping for a short period. If you are standing for a longer time say more than 5 min then shut the engine.

Use your gears intelligently
Driving in the highest gear possible without laboring the engine is a fuel-efficient way of driving.

Drive efficiently
By applying light throttle and avoiding heavy braking, you can reduce both fuel consumption and wear and tear. Try to predict traffic at junctions and when in queuing to avoid accelerating and then braking.

Tire Pressure
Tier pressure plays an important role in increasing fuel efficiency. About 50% of tires on the road are under inflated, this not only increases the rate of wear, but also wastes fuel and decreases your fuel efficiency. Try the new ‘Eco’ tires that are designed specifically to increase fuel efficiency.

Car Windows
It’s hard to believe but driving with your windows open drastically reduces your fuel efficiency. (Even more than the AC)

Spark Plugs make a difference
Ensure your spark plugs are in good condition; renew the plugs and wires at intervals. This will keep all cylinders firing properly resulting in higher efficiency.

Tips for saving Gas

Tips for saving GasThe soaring prices of gasoline forces everyone to look for gas saving tips and tricks. Nobody on earth would like to empty his or her wallets at the neighbourhood service station. Therefore, here are a few gas saving tips for you. Read on.

Tire pressure:
It is always recommended to check the pressure in the tires of your car at least once a month. Purchase a digital gauge for checking the tire pressure. For easy access, keep the gauge in your glove compartment. Read the recommended tire pressure in the owner’s manual of your car and inflate your tires as needed.

Oil:
The right oil for your car means that your car is doing fine. As we have discussed in many articles, you should change the oil of your car after every 30,000miles. Check the grade of oil that is recommended by the manufacturer.

Spark plug:
Check the spark plugs as needed. It is very important to keep your engine in tune because this boosts your gas mileage by around 4 percent. The spark plugs should not work below the required efficiency as this may lower your car’s fuel efficiency approximately up to 30 percent.

Car parking:
Keep your car in the shade during the summer. It is recommended to park your car in the garage to prevent your car from becoming too hot or too cold.

Burning Your Hard Earned Money in Fuel

Burning Your Hard Earned Money in FuelDo you remember just a handful of years ago when gas was around $1 per gallon? How terrible were those days! All the money left over in our bank account gave us no choice but to travel with our families, pursue new economic opportunities, and enjoy life in general.

Times are better now, right? After all, gas is almost $3.50 per gallon. Prices on all other items are rising to compensate for fuel costs. And, of course, our small cost of living raise we got at work does not even begin to keep pace.

Where should you take the family on vacation? Nowhere! What recreational activities should you pursue? Nothing! How much should you invest this year? Zero! Why? Simple, all the money for those things is conveniently going into the gas tank.

Ahhh……finally, life is simple again.

I’m sure some people out there long to go back to how things were before, back to the days when we had the stress of deciding where to go on vacation. Well, in the event that you are one of those strange souls who enjoyed having money, what can be done to compensate?

First things first……I think we must realize that gas prices are not coming back down. I know……congress and presidential candidates are screaming and hollering at the oil companies. They are performing their “investigations” to get to the bottom of the problem. Have you ever noticed that they do this every time there is a rapid spike in gas prices? Have you also noticed that nothing ever comes if it?

The truth is that gas prices are the result of many global economic factors. None the least of these is the fact that developing nations are beginning to consume oil in enormous quantities. When demand goes up and production does not keep pace, guess what happens to cost? Welcome to the wonderful world of supply and demand.

So, again, what if you want to leave the simple and peaceful life of struggling to make ends meet and return to the stress of having more than enough money? Well, you need to either reduce your consumption of fuel, increase your income, or both.

There are several ways you can reduce your fuel costs—even without buying a hybrid. You can reduce the number of days you drive to work. I’m sure your boss wouldn’t mind if you only showed up every other day.

You could also consider eliminating other sources of fuel that really are not needed—like electricity. Turn the air conditioner, the lights, and the fridge all off. People survived for thousands of years without these and I’m sure you wouldn’t notice if your air conditioner didn’t run anymore……especially in August.

However, if you feel that those suggestions are impractical, you can simply increase your income. I’m sure your boss will understand when you demand a very large raise to keep pace. Don’t forget to ask for enough to compensate for the increased taxes you will have to pay.

If a direct raise doesn’t work, perhaps request that your boss pay for your fuel to and from work. Simply keep a journal of how much you drive to and from work, figure out your fuel expenses per mile, add in some extra to donate to the IRS, and then insist your boss add that to your check every payday. I’m sure this will not only work, but your ingenuity will probably get your boss to give you a promotion!
