Do you remember the Korean Mazda3 hatchback? Well, for those who don’t , here are some of its core potentials. A 2.3 liter 16-valve 4 cylinder engine, variable valve timing, pumps out 160 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque, great 5-speed manual transmission, super light clutch, a tight (34.1 ft) turning radius and small overhangs. All this indeed makes a Mazda3 a breeze to park, not to mention the swiftness with which you can zoom through a U-turn without just hitting a reverse. Well, my idea of telling you this to show you that the new Hyundai Elantra reminds of her.

ELANTRA: Yes, this new sensation comes to you in the form of a 5-door mini wagon version. Its flaunts its uniqueness with its sport-tuned suspension and stylized looks.

Let’s see what more does Hyundai has in for us?

GENESIS: Hyundai’s top-of-the-line Genesis sedan will make its debut for the 2009 model year. Ideally, Genesis is seen to have targeted cars like the Chrysler 300, Toyota Avalon and Pontiac G8 but it says that their design and engineering targets were the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-series.

However, the rear-wheel-drive Genesis will offer a choice of 3.3 and 3.8 liter V6 engines as well as a 4.6 liter V8 producing a whooping 375 horsepower.

GENESIS COUPE: For those who think that Genesis Coupe is an alternative to the Tiburon, all the new car that shares its underpinnings with Genesis Sedan, it is certainly not so. Its engine will give choices of 200+ hp turbocharged four-cylinder or a 200+ hp 3.8 liter V6. This car will be on sale in Spring 2009 and is a part of 2010 model year.

SONATA: The 2009 Sonata has witnessed a series of integrations such as unique styling, revised interior, improved engines that turn out more power with better fuel economy, and a suspension tuned to deliver a firm ride and super-sporty handling.

So we see that Hyundai is all set to bowl us with its super-bonanza in the succeeding year. All those who have been eyeing these models can now finally prepare themselves to see their dream come true.
