In the 7TH heaven-BMW

So what’s so special about the BMW 7 series that the global elite can’t get enough of it? In fact, what so great about the newest model off the block? Lets have a look.BMW had to do something radical with its new car. The head lamps too have been given a resketch giving the new flagship an elegant face. the front bumper is now a large unit which houses an extra large air dam and recesses for the fog lamps .but apart from being just another bumper, the one on the 7 has some clever gizmos up its sleeve. Perched neatly in front is a little camera which is the eye of the night vision.
The most important requirement for the new 7 is to cocoon its passenger in the arms of luxury. To make sure it lives up to those expectations, BMW has put in comfortable Dakota leathered seats which can be electrically adjustable to as many positions as you can imagine.
However the most striking departure is its 10.2 inch LCD screen which doubles as a multi view camera. Talking about cameras, the car’s night vision device is another great feature; the BMW night vision provides a new dimension of optical perception. A thermal imaging camera detects objects in front of the car before they become visible to human eye in the head lights. The image generated by the system is then transmitted to the central control display, presenting objects detected with increasing brightness as a function of the heat detected by the camera –thereby making human being s and animals particularly conspicuous. The thermal imaging camera covers a range of up to 300 meters ahead and offers the driver particular benefits when driving on darkened roads.
BMW had always known that its I Drive system was rather complicated and that customers almost needed a PhD in electronics to perform a simple function like docking their mobile phone via Bluetooth. So designers are back with a simpler version. The first thing they have done is separate the climate control functions from the I drive system that’s not where it ends. BMW has also endowed the 7 with an automatic emergency call function on the BMW connected drive.
But finally what makes a Bimmer is the way it drives. Only for BMW, injecting a massive engine into its cars doesn’t herald the end of matter. The company is now looking to satisfy Green Lovers as well. Come next year, the 7 will get a small electric motor placed between the transmission tunnel and the engine. Truly, the new 7 is a masterpiece which has finally upped the ante for its biggest rival.
