![]() |
Mercedes is a big name in automobile sector. The German based automaker has a history of enticing customer satisfaction. Mercedes-Benz is well known around the globe for their luxury vehicles. Just to keep up with the competitors, they had worked hard and has brought out the ultimate cars that offer comfort, performance, and power that consumers will want to take advantage of. One of the most successful models from Mercedes is the C-Class. Just to make sure that this trend continued engineers at Mercedes-Benz worked long hours to build a virtual prototype of the new 2008 C-Class.
Mercedes worked out on creating 2130 gigabytes of information and used computer simulations to test every detail of this new car. The “spec book” was 360 pages long and covered the level of comfort that the car could offer. This was just one out of 250 component spec books that were made. The engineers from Mercedes ‘drove’ the virtual car on the ‘road’ and ‘highways’ to see how it will perform on road, which saved both time and money. Never had Mercedes taken such a care as to the type of model that they are producing. They took the time and practice to make sure that every detail was perfect and every thing was the way that it should be. At the end of the day, they created a car that consumers could enjoy and would want to trade in their old cars for.
The car 2008 C-Class came out in two models; sport and luxury. Each of these models came with their own special trim levels, front end treatments, and suspension tuning. The car was available in two luxury models and one sport model.
The C300 Luxury model came out with a 3.0 litre V6 engine that had the capacity to push out 228 horsepower. It came with choice of all wheel or rear wheel drive. The C350 Luxury model was equipped with a larger 3.5 litre V6 engine that had the ability to push out 268 horsepower.
