Nissan Completes Four Decades in North America

Forty years is not a small time in automobile industry. It is four decades since the first Nissan car rolled out on the roads of North America. With in this time, the North American market has witnessed some bold changes by Nissan. Well, of course we know that Nissan is never feared of experiments and innovations. The first Nissan was imported under the Datsun name, Nissan cars in Canada. The US made the switch over to the new name in the early 1980s and the company hasn’t been the same since that. With the launching of a broader line up and the introduction of the luxurious Infiniti brand in the late 1980s, the face of Nissan got changed tremendously. This has helped the consumers in getting a new brand every time for a fair price.
Datsuns made its debut on the Canada roads in 1965. How could one forget the 1600cc 510 wagon with a 4 speed manual transmission?
