Toyota Camry: The Eco-Friendly Hybrid Sedan

Toyota Camry: The Eco-Friendly Hybrid SedanWith fuel prices reaching soaring height, the demand for hybrid cars are getting higher. A lot more manufacturers brought out different brands into the market. But it was Camry from Toyota which became successful among them. Let us see the features that make Camry one of the largest selling vehicles.

Generally it may seem to be the same Camry Sedan in the first look. But Hybrid definitely differs in some ways. The Hybrid cars run partly by electricity and the rest by gasoline. Camry hybrid’s later models are classified as a “full hybrid” as they could run on gas or on electric energy. Toyota Camry enjoys wide sales in the market. But still efforts are made by Toyota to raise its sales further aiming a larger market share. For this, a massive and research is being done by Toyota. The splendid car has a 40 MPG gas mileage in the city, while on the highway it has 38 MPG gas mileage. It has a four-cylinder engine with gasoline and has a NiMH 245V battery with maximum capacity of about 30 kilowatt or 40 horsepower.

The Toyota Camry has a gasoline engine that could carry about 2.4 liters of fuel while the electric motor is 45-horsepower. With the help of Hybrid Synergy Drive, the engine of this car from the Japanese auto maker remains at a single gear even if the speed is changed. Toyota Camry Hybrid, is seen matching based the acceleration speed of the Toyota V6 Camry. It has a finer acceleration on highway speed which makes it something special from the rest of the competing models.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid is an Eco-Friendly car which is known and proven to apply significantly low consumption of fuel. The car helps in cutting down the usage of energy making it comfortable and economically viable. The Camry from Toyota produce the lowest amount of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide which are disastrous.

No wonder, the Toyota Camry has won several awards for its eco-friendly features. The car for the very same reason is adopted by many users around the globe. T is therefore sure that the coming days will see a high rise in the sale of the cars fulfilling the hopes of the Japanese auto giant to garner a huge share in the automobile market.

Are gas prices empting your wallet?

Are gas prices empting your wallet?Gas prices always only seem to climb, a phenomenon which is new to us no more. However, since our dependency on this is never likely to cease, we can always employ some measures to control our unnecessary wastage of this ever-so-expensive fuel. Here you go!

• Always keep your car tuned up because cars in poor condition tend to use more of this fuel.
• Your car air conditioner is one of the sole reasons that’ll give you worse gas mileage. So if it is inevitable not to use it, make sure that you are using it at a lower setting.
• Your windows should always be closed while traveling at high speeds. Open windows cause additional drag and lower your gas mileage.
• Never over fill the air in your tires because over-inflated tires can actually reduce your fuel efficiency.
• If possible, change your work start time to avoid gridlock. Stop and go traffic hurts your gas mileage.
• Avoid carrying unneeded items in your vehicle. For example, you needn’t carry snow chains around with you in the summertime.
• Avoid your engine to stay idle for longer periods of time. While suck in traffic, you can easily turn the ignition off for you certainly won’t move for the next few minutes.
• Traveling at fast speeds in low gears must be avoided unless you need the compression to slow down.
• Always drive within the speed limit.
• Accelerate slowly when leaving the stop light. Only if you knew, the fastest person through the intersection spends more on gas.
• Revving the engine needlessly wastes gas. There is no need to rev before you turn your vehicle off.

These are some basic but useful tips which will invariably help you to save bucks on fuel. Our forthcoming articles will have more of such tips for you.

Natural Gasoline: An Alternative Source of Energy

Natural Gasoline: An Alternative Source of EnergyNatural gasoline is a heavy source of energy in the present world. Today’s world hugely relies on natural gas or natural gasoline as they find it a major energy source. Natural gasoline is highly combustible and is a much cleaner source of energy when compared to fossil fuels found in the deep reservoirs within the earth.
Gasoline is obtained by drilling. It is made up of many hydrocarbons out of which methane is the predominant one. Natural gas when comes out in its original state has ethane, propane and butane as impurities. Removals of these impurities take place while in refinery.

With fossils fuels depleting at a rapid rate, scientists have started focusing on natural gasoline as a chief source of energy. The usage of gasoline keeps fluctuating with climatic conditions. Its demand shows a deep increase during winters and goes down during summers.

Importance:

Natural gasoline has the property of burning without leaving any impurities. It is a good source of energy. Due to these reasons, the demand of it has gone too high. To make this natural gasoline available in the market, it is important to have natural gas pipeline facilities.

The number of these pipelines is proportional to the increase in the demand of natural gasoline. The increase in the demand for natural gasoline has raised the need of these pipeline facilities. Major petroleum companies are in the process to build natural gas pipelines across Europe, North America and other countries.

Pipeline facilities provide the most effective means of transport for natural gasoline. The natural gas is transported by the pipeline companies through trucks and carriers. The cost of transportation is too high and it is a tedious job. This had made the transportation impractical. Sometimes, such transportation is also risky.
Pipeline facilities make the transportation of natural gasoline faster to various fuel stations. They transform natural gas effectively. These fuel stations also help to facilitate thousands of natural gasoline supplies.

Ways to Cut Fuel Prices

Ways to Cut Fuel PricesSaving money is not a simple thing. Thanks to the new economic conditions. No doubt, the first thing that comes to mind while thinking about the economy is the tremendous hike of the fuel price. Oil companies have reported record breaking quarters. And in the end the burn is brunt by average common man. With all developed countries witnessing heavy hike in fuel charges, things are no more as simple as that.

Have you ever thought of a strategy to fight back this disastrous scenario? What will it take for gas prices to steady to a reasonable price again? Buy less gas! It is as simple as that. Latest reports show that most of Americans have already resorted to driving less, sacrificing family vacations, carpooling to work, and using public transportation. So how can you buy less gas even after you have resorted to the extreme?

There do exist ways to cut down money on gas, drive as much as you want, and reduce carbon emissions. Converting the car to run on water and gasoline hybrid will help in cutting down the fuel charges to a big extend. This is possible through the miracle of electrolysis. This methodology dramatically improve you gas mileage, without all the confusion of hydrogen fuel cell technology. To make things cooler, this can be done with any car or truck, gas or diesel!

Everyone among us knows that hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. But also we know that hydrogen fuel is very unstable, and sometimes dangerous to transport. But there is another option other than hydrogen fuel that is virtually a scientific breakthrough. It’s baptised HHO. And a man by the name of Ozzie Freedom has developed a device that could use the electricity out of your car or truck battery, which will separate water into “HHO”. This HHO GAS which is 3 times more potent than gasoline increases mileage and cuts the fuel price.

Tell me, you know any more much better price cutting gimmick. I swear, I don’t. So if you too not, then switch over to these new ways to save fuel charges.

VW Golf TDI Hybrid: too expensive for America?Volkswagen revealed its breathtaking Golf TDI Hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show last month. Nobody will stop you owning this car, if you are ready to pay more. So what is the issue if at all it is a bit expensive than other gasoline vehicles? We all love this car because of its features itself, isn’t it? So let us know more about the technical aspects of this awesome car. Read on.

The machine uses a 1.2 liter three-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 26 horsepower electric motor and returns 69 U.S. mpg and 89 g/km of CO2 emissions in the EU combined cycle. VW Golf TDI Hybrid stands up to the needs of the car lovers- it delivers high mileage and low emissions.

The hybrid has a 1.2 liter three-cylinder diesel engine and a 220V electric motor. The electric motor gets the car moving at low speeds, with the 73 horsepower diesel kicking in only when extra oomph is needed (or wanted) and when cruising at highway speeds. The car also can run either in full-electric or full internal combustion mode, according to VW. Power is transferred through a seven-speed DSG transmission to the front wheels. The car also has start/stop capability and regenerative braking.

VW says the Golf TDI Hybrid consumes 3.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, which by our math is 71.4 mpg.

Water gas conversion to cut the fuel costs

Water gas conversion to cut the fuel costsConversion of water into gas is one of the most possible solutions to reduce the fuel costs. Thanks to Internet in which numerous websites provide methods to cut the fuel costs.

Visit some of the popular websites such as You Tube which have a large stock of videos. Search for the water gas conversion methods by typing the key words “water for fuel” or “water gas”. The site will then enlist a number of videos illustrating step by step the methods of water gas conversion.

In the videos, you could see how many people have actually invented hydrogen engines, or engines that produce hydroxy. The end result is a cleaner and more powerful source of energy which can produce 3 times more power than petroleum. They also have a cleaner waste product, that is, water. Well, this technique seems to be an effective solution to the world’s global energy crisis.

The backing reason why we appreciate water gas conversion kits for cars is the mere abundance of water in Earth and the fact that they are easily recyclable. On the contrary, day by day the amount of fossil fuels in Earth is declining because of their alarming use. Not to mention that they are non-renewable sources of energy.

The most common forms of hydrogen fueled solutions that have been found out till date. One is the fuel cell which completely burns up the hydrogen with
There are 3 known forms of hydrogen fueled solutions today. First there is the fuel cell that oxygen from the atmosphere in the Fuel Cells. The end product is oxygen and water vapor. Both which are not green house gases.

Another solution is Brown’s gas, which is made from water and produced through electrolysis. It is a perfect fuel for running these vehicles as it produces more energy than petroleum and the end results in water.

If the water gas conversion methods come to practice effectively, this may even diminish the automotive business and may also reduce a huge part of the market share of the oil companies.

Hybrid cars- environment-friendly, but why not cheaper?

Hybrid cars- environment-friendly, but why not cheaper? We don’t have any clue when gasoline prices are going to come down. The hefty bills paid every time we fill our cars with fossil fuels are perhaps making life difficult. The invention of hybrid cars is considered to be the perfect cure for the trouble of fossil fuel driven cars. Well, they may be good solutions as they can run on both gas and batteries without the need for recharging. But, think the other side- can we really afford the costly cure? Well, we should have swelling bank balance to enjoy the luxury of driving the environment- friendly hybrids. You will have to make real savings because the batteries too come expensive which need to be replaced from time to time.

Take for example Honda’s tiny Insight- a light-weight two-seater with limited cargo space and price tag of $21000 is powered by a tiny three-cylinder engine with an occasional assist from batteries that recharge by reclaiming the energy expended when you slow down or brake. But, it is expensive when you consider its size and lack of utility.

We give you another example of Honda’s Civic Hybrid. Though it is a bestseller, it will cost you whopping $22000 though it is not the best! Another option given by the company is the Accord Hybrid, which is best known for its unique twist in the power from its small electric motor primarily to boost performance. But, will you really want to spend as much as $30000 for this Hybrid?

The latest news is that the hybrid pickups from Chevrolet, GMC and Dodge are in the works to hit the market soon.

Do you know that your normal car can be converted to run on more water than gas making it a hybrid? The end product of this is water which is not harmful emissions as what is done by the combustion of fossil fuels? All that being said, do you still want to burden your own economical budget with this luxury? Why should you not consider this option? Think it over…

Know the MPG of your car and save fuel cost

Know the MPG of your car and save fuel costEconomy is rough today. Gasoline prices are skyrocketing. And people are finding ways to minimize the fuel costs. A lot of people’s inclination towards water gas conversion kits and hydrogen powered vehicles is the evidence that they are no more willing to compromise by still using gasoline. These are the common ways to cut the costs but do you know that by improving your driving habits, you can actually save a lot of energy and your hard earned money?

First of all, look at the route which you drive on. If you are driving the same route to work, school etc, pay attention to the possible routes which include less traffic. This is because your car’s mpg is going to differentiate on the highway and rural roads. You don’t tend to stop as much in the highways as you do in rural areas and busy routes.

Next, take a look at your car and try to figure out your MPG (miles per gallon) your gas tank is. This will give you a fair idea on how far you can travel until you get close to empty.

To figure out the MPG of your car, reset on of your trip odometers so that it reads 0. This should be done when you are filling up at the pump. Use your arithmetic skill. When you fill up at the pump, note down the miles you drove and how many gallons you filled up at the pump. The number of gallons will be displayed on the pump.

The number will change every time you fill up at the pump. However, make sure that the number shouldn’t change much.

Keep an eye on the MPG of your car and you will be able to save a lot of money!
