Replacing an institution is a tough job. Scrutinizing more closely than the original will be there, which may make things hard to work out. So was the case in Mondeo. Ford Mondeo is the most popular large family car for its entire 2000 - 2008 life-cycle. It even played a role in the James Bond flick ‘Casino Royale’ for a brief scene, before being swiftly replaced by Bond’s original Aston Martin DB5.

 Ford is one of the big names in the automobile market, which is in operations for more than a hundred years. Despite the entry of many new names in to the market, Ford never had to look back. Ever since its arrival into the automobile market in 1905, never had it made the users go unsatisfied.  Mitsubishi, Japanes automaker launched its Pajero model in 1973 targetting an expansion of its car market. The SUV was named after Leopardus pajeros, the Pampas Cat which inhabits in southern Argentine. The SUV adopted different names in different markets ath the time of debut for marketing tactics. While known as Mitsubishi Montero in Spain, and the America, except Brazil, it is called mitsubishi Shogun in the UK. The success of Pajero, Montero and Shogun made Mitsubishi to bring out new models like Pajero Mini kei car, Pajero Junior, and Pajero Junior and Pajero iO/Pinin.
Mitsubishi launched the first model Pajero at the Tokyo Motor Show in Novem,ber 1973 and the Pajero II prototype came out in 1978, five years later. From time to time Pajero underwent serious afce lifts. They were restructuired and remodelled by the Japanese car maker to suit the growing user demands.
The second generation Pajero by Mitsubishi came out in 1991. In the eighties, more than three hundred thousands of Pajeros were sold out around the world. The redesigning of the model was done by the beginning of the nineties to add up th sales.
The second generation model came out with completely restrutured sytyle. It had a new, larger body, available in four different versions; Metal Top, Canvas Top Convertible, Semi High Roof Wagon and High Roof Wagon. The second generation Pajero also carried Super Select 4Wdand multimode ABS, a first attempt on Japanese four wheel drives.

In 2006, the next generation came fout from the lineage of Mitsubishi with astonishing exteriors and interiors enhancing safety with dual-stage SRS front airbags as well as new side-impact and curtain airbags.  Car braking system is one of the most important safety features that a driver should have perfect control over. The basics of the automotive braking system always remain the same, even if it is power or non power, disc or drum. A rotor may seem similar to the plate, and the fingers could act like the calipers.
The widely used brakes are single piston, and floating calliper. The present day brake systems have improved a lot in their features. They carry an anti-lock system that prevents the tires from getting ‘locked up’.

 Driving a car is not an easy and simple task. You may drive like a saint, but what if the tires are not in good condition? How do you know what you are getting, will the part worn tire be safe at high speed or in the wet? Just read out these tried and tested guidelines that will help you in making a decision. Always take into account your safety while driving.
While purchasing a used tire, the first thing that must be considered is aquaplaning. Always take care about a good grip. If any lapse on this part is done, then remember at a particular speed, the vehicle can lose control. Always take care to avoid mishaps.
The more tread you have it will be better for the tire. The patterns of used tyre are designed to clear water from the road surface so that it can make good contact with the road. The deeper the tread, it could clear more water from the road making the journey safe. Aquaplaning happens when a level of water gets build up between the road surface and the tire.  Seat belts are safety features of a vehicle that reduce the chances of getting injured in accidents. Hence, the proper functioning of seat belts becomes crucial. A major head injury can be avoided by wearing seatbelts, negligence of which results in death due to the severe head injury. Here are some features of a malfunctioning seat belt which should not be ignored.
Retractor failure: The retractor mechanism of seat belt locks during an accident which in turn keeps the seat belt from feeding out. If this mechanism fails to function, slacks are created in the belt which leads to malfunctioning of the seat belt, ultimately leading to severe injuries.
Protruding release button: Under normal driving conditions, a release button that sticks out from the buckle can be easily pressed by just giving a gentle bump. If this is the case, then the passengers should know that they are no longer protected and it is high time that the seat belts are replaced.
Defects in the design: Some seat belts work in an unsafe manner due to their mere design. Such seat belts should be immediately replaced because they are not safe.
Automatic belts: Many cars are now equipped with automatic seat belts. These seat belts automatically move into place the moment you get in and close the door. This is to make sure that you are wearing seat belts. However, automatic belts come with a shoulder strap without a lap belt. This makes the automatic seat belts dangerous. Moreover, the door belts can cause ejection from the car if the door comes open during a crash.

In the U.S. alone, the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) estimates more than 100,000 accidents annually are caused by driver fatigue, resulting in 1,500 deaths. The NHSTA also indicates rear-end collisions are the most common of all accident types, totaling 29 percent of all incidents reported by the police. To help curb these statistics and end driver distractions, auto manufacturer Volvo is installing new technologies in specified models: Collision Warning with Auto Brake, Adaptive Cruise Control and Distance Alert, Driver Alert Control and Lane Departure Warning. Using both radar and a camera to detect vehicles in front of the vehicle, the Collision Warning with Auto Brake system automatically forces the vehicle to come to a halt when a collision is imminent. In conjunction with this, the Adaptive Cruise Control system works to maintain the distance to the car in front by using a radar sensor to monitor speed. Watch the video.
