Toyota has been ruling the world for long years. They have successfully released cars that allured the users, satisfying their desires. Toyota Prius is a best selling and most popular hybrid car that was launched in 1997. Initially, the Prius didn’t sell very well, but the sales showed a hike later. In the year 2003, Toyota came out with their second generation hybrid vehicle making it car of the year. The second generation Prius came out with an improved look than its predecessor in many important ways. Prius is the first sedan of its class and size and has won numerous awards.
The Toyota Prius employs the Synergy hybrid system and it has a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine with smart valve timing along with an eternal magnet Ac synchronous motor. The Prius car has 110 horsepower and 46 mpg fuel economy. It has an electronically controlled continuous variable transmission, anti-lock system and regenerative breaking.
The second generation Prius comes out with power windows, cloth seats, micron filter air-conditioners, cruise control, door locks, and keyless remote entry as standard features in the second generation Toyota Prius. It also has climate, audio, and cruise control can be controlled remotely through switches on the steering wheel. The Toyota Prius stands out from the competing models due to fuel efficiency, affordable prices and eco friendly features. If you have any plans to buy out a new car, then go out for Toyota Prius.
